How VexuGames works, how to install part files and OnlineFix packs, and what to do when a game will not start.
What is VexuGames?
VexuGames is a library of pre-installed PC games. Every listing is a complete build: download it, extract it, play it. There is no launcher to install, no account required and no setup wizard - patches and fixes are already applied to what you download.
Are the games free to download?
Yes. Every game on the site is a free download. There is no premium tier, no speed upgrade and nothing behind a paywall or a sign-up form.
Do I need an account?
No. Browsing and downloading never require signing in. An account only lets you post comments under a game, and nothing else on VexuGames depends on one.
How do I install a game?
Extract the archive with WinRAR or 7-Zip and run the executable named in the install guide on that game's page. The guide names the exact file because an extracted release can hold a dozen executables - the game itself, a launcher and several redistributables.
The game came as several part files. How do I install it?
Large releases are split into numbered parts (part1, part2, part3 and so on). Download every part and put all of them in the same folder. Then right-click only the first part and choose Extract Here in WinRAR or 7-Zip. The extractor reads the remaining parts automatically - do not extract them one by one.
Do not rename the part files. If one is missing or renamed, extraction stops with an error naming the part it could not find.
What is OnlineFix and how do I use it?
OnlineFix is a separate download that enables online multiplayer for a game. When a game has one, its download panel offers two options: Direct Download if you only want to play singleplayer, and OnlineFix Download if you want to play online with friends.
Install the game first. Then extract the OnlineFix archive into the game's main folder, keeping the folder structure intact, and choose Replace when asked about existing files. The exact steps, including which executable to launch afterwards, are in the OnlineFix guide on the game page.
My antivirus flagged the download. Is it safe?
Pre-installed builds include files that bypass a store's licence check, and antivirus software often flags those generically. Add the game folder to your antivirus exclusions before extracting, or the antivirus may delete the very file the game needs to start.
If a file is quarantined during extraction, restore it from quarantine, add the folder to exclusions and extract again.
How do I know whether my copy is up to date?
Every game page shows the current version and build in the download panel, and an update history underneath the install guide. Compare the version on the page with the one you have; if the page lists a newer build, download it and replace your copy.
Where are my save files?
If the release keeps saves somewhere unusual, the path is printed in the Game Data & Settings block on the game page. When there is no such block, the game uses its normal save location, typically under Documents or %APPDATA%.
A download link is broken. What now?
Write to us through the contact page with the game's URL and which link failed. Broken links are replaced, usually the same day.
How often are new games added?
Continuously, and every addition appears in the Latest Games row on the home page. Games whose build has been replaced appear on the Recent Updates page.
Why is a game in a category that does not seem right?
Every game belongs to one or more of fourteen fixed categories, chosen by hand. If one is clearly wrong, tell us through the contact page and it will be corrected.
Can I use a VPN?
Yes. Nothing on VexuGames depends on your location, and file hosts generally work through a VPN as well.
